Quite often, if good weather continues throughout the course,
P2 can be achieved in less than 10 days.
Course program: “P2; P3; in Oludeniz”
Course duration: 8-9 days
Format: Theoretical and practical classes with gradually increasing complexity of tasks.
Course objective: Improving active piloting skills, mastering thermal soaring and confident control in difficult conditions.
Day 1: P1 basics review
• Theory:
1. Brief overview of P1 skills.
2. In-depth knowledge of the structure of the paraglider and its aerodynamics.
3. Preparing for flights: how to analyze conditions at the launch site.
• Practice:
1. Ground exercises: wing control in moderate wind.
2. Flights from 1200 m to assess the pilot's level.
3. Landing accuracy training.
Day 2: Active piloting technique
• Theory:
1. What is active piloting and why is it needed.
2. How to control a wing in turbulent conditions.
3. Recognizing unstable wing states (stall, frontal) and preventing them.
• Practice:
1. Flights from 1700 m with an emphasis on active piloting.
2. Practicing the technique of wing stabilization in difficult conditions.
3. Introduction to simple maneuvers: ears, B-line.

Day 5: Flights with a route component
• Theory:
1. Basics of route flights: trajectory planning.
2. How to read the terrain and use it for soaring.
3. Determining the return point and safe landing.
